INDEPENDENT VENUE WEEK
Love live music? Returning for the sixth year running, Independent Venue Week (January 28 – February 3) is back at the Boileroom this January featuring seven nights of live music from some of the very best in the business.
We live in an ever-changing musical landscape. Whether they be genres, formats, where we buy or stream our tunes, or where we experience live music – it’s safe to say that, in the age of the internet, change moves at breakneck speed.
However, it’s important to remember the basics of how we get from the conceptual process to the end product. Whether you’re an easy listener or an intent listener, this article is for YOUR attention.
Independent Venue Week brings together some of the most relevant, important and historic venues around the country, with a focus on promoting some of the most exciting new talent in the country. Think Record Store Day, but for independent music venues. Flying the flag for independent venues in Surrey is The Boileroom in Guildford and by golly have they got a week’s worth of music to sink your ears into.
