LET’S TALK MORTGAGES WITH KAY KOWALEWSKA
BY KAY KOWALEWSKA
IS IT BEST TO STICK TO THE CURRENT LENDER?
Absolutely not, current lender can only offer you rates they have available without reviewing the market and giving you advice. Whereas a broker can review all options available and give you the suitable solution to your enquiry.
ARE YOU INDEPENDENT?
Yes, I can use high street lenders, as well as building societies and lenders who use intermediaries, with a few exceptions.
HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE?
I charge a research fee of £195.00.
WHEN IS BEST TO START LOOKING AT MY MORTGAGE?
6 months before your fixed rate ends. If rates reduce and you use a broker, they will notify you and change the rate on your behalf to save you money. However a lender is unlikely to let you know that they have reduced rates.
DO YOU ONLY DEAL WITH RESIDENTIAL MORTGAGES?
No, I can also help you with your rental properties (buy to let), later life lending and mortgage capacity reports for divorce proceedings. Nicki Sparks can also help with equity release and commercial lending.
WHO CAN YOU HELP?
I can help anyone, from a first-time buyer to a home mover, clients wanting to borrow more or buy an additional property. From poor credit score to excellent credit score. I am not a picky adviser and genuinely want to help everyone. All I ask is for clients to be transparent from the start.
IS PROTECTING MY MORTGAGE ESSENTIAL?
Yes, you should always make sure that your mortgage is protected. I can help you with your life insurance, critical illness insurance and income protection.
