Bluebird Care Surrey:
A Personal Journey Towards Compassionate Home Care
Embarking on a journey deeply rooted in compassion and personal experience, Kerry and Lloyd, lifelong residents of Surrey, found their calling in the care industry. Motivated by their own family’s struggles and a passion for providing dignified support, they joined forces with Bluebird Care. Now, with a steadfast commitment to community engagement and personalised care, they strive to redefine home care in Guildford, Godalming, and Woking. Compassionate Home Care in Surrey. Welcome to their story.
A little about us.
Kerry and Lloyd have lived and worked in and around Surrey their entire lives.
Lloyd has spent the last 25 years in the property industry and has seen the upheaval and upset caused by people having to move out of their family homes due to struggling with day-to-day tasks. The ability to help our customers stay at home in a place they feel safe and comfortable is our priority.
Kerry’s background in office management and customer service is a vital role in the running of the business, her attention to detail and relentless drive guarantees our team are always trained to the highest standards to deliver the highest quality care in the home
What attracted us to Bluebird Care?
Our decision to become part of the Bluebird Care family was compounded when dealing with care for our own grandparents and the lack of compassion and professionalism from the care providers we dealt with.
When the opportunity to start our own Bluebird Care business became available to us, we did not think twice about it, our own experiences and the values Bluebird Care bases its business on was a perfect match, we are proud to be offering care to the residents of Surrey.
We are absolutely delighted to be part of the Bluebird Care network, joining the award-winning care provider was the obvious choice when we looked to pursue starting our care journey. The core values of our business put the customer and our carers before anything else.
An exciting year ahead
Our aim is to become the “go to” home care provider in the Guildford, Godalming and Woking areas, associating ourselves with the local community and care groups. In time we would like the office to become a welcoming community hub for carers and our customers. We will be attending local village fares and events promoting the business throughout the year and will be looking to partner with local charities.
The Customer Journey.
The most important part of the customer experience is a willingness to accept care and the understanding that our carer’s are there to help, not take over! We often find that it’s a family member or friend that approaches us in the first instance following concerns that a loved one is struggling to cope with basic tasks or personal care.
The first step is to speak with us to discuss any concerns.
We would then arrange to visit the customer in their home to discuss their individual requirements before putting together a bespoke personalised care plan that documents all the care needs from medication to personal care, favourite hobbies and important people in the customers life.
Our care and support starts with visits from friendly, professional members of our team.
We will regularly review each care plan and the service we are providing so that we can respond to any changes in the customers needs or wishes.
What we do
Care comes in many shapes and sizes and what one person needs often differs greatly to another.
Where some of our customers benefit from Live-in-care, others desire short term companionship visits that start from as little as 30 minutes on chosen days.
Some of the benefits from engaging with us are, Companionship, Outings, Overnight care, Holiday care, Personal care, Meal preparation, Household chores, Shopping, Medication, Health and Wellbeing checks.
