TO BE WORN AGAIN KILO SALE / MARCH 4 + 5 / ZERO CARBON, GUILDFORD
Let’s face it. Fast fashion is a path that is imperative to deviate from. If you’re looking to reduce waste, investing in second-hand clothes, which are sometimes practically new, is an excellent way to save some perfectly good threads from certain death. Fortunately, Sussex’s vintage emporium, To Be Worn Again, is back at Guildford’s ZERO for a thrifty weekend selling clothes that simply, erm, must be worn again! Buy by the weight of clobber collected as you say “no” to new and “yes” to that second-hand dress that will not only look super rad but also be saved from landfill.

EARTH HOUR / MARCH 25 / 8.30 pm, EVERYWHERE
Taking place at 8:30 pm, Earth Hour helps to raise awareness of how our actions are damaging the planet. Climate change is harming wildlife, oceans are being suffocated by plastic, and the forests and wild places which animals call home are being destroyed. So pledge to the planet, and switch it off for an hour this March, as well as do something positive for planet earth simultaneously. Whether it’s picking up litter on your street, planting a tree, or cooking dinner with sustainable ingredients – show Mother Earth some love at 8.30 pm!
