WHAT WAS THE FIRST PANTOMIME YOU APPEARED IN?
At Cranleigh School in 1984 – I was “Leo the Lion” in the “Wizard of OzNorth” (Professionally it was Peter Pan in Woking 2003)
WHO’S YOUR FAVOURITE PANTOMIME CHARACTER (EVER) AND WHY?
I love Captain Hook – would love to play him one day! – the greatest excuse ever to get booed!
ASIDE FROM PANTO AND WHEN YOU’RE NOT IN PANTO, WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE THING TO DO AT CHRISTMAS?
I love Christmas Eve – the pantos at the Yvonne Arnaud are so special….and then I love heading home to sit by the tree with a glass of mulled wine waiting for the big day!
WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE THING TO DO IN SURREY AT CHRISTMAS?
Thse days, with a little one, it’s finding Father Christmas of course! (We have also enjoyed “Glow” at Wisley RHS in recent years)

Yvonne Arnaud’s sparkling, award-winning pantomimes are made and rehearsed, in house at the theatre. Written, directed, designed and staged by their team, you can be sure of a thoroughly original production for all the family every time. Their recent pantomime Dick Wittington won them Best Ensemble in the UK Pantomime Awards. Cinderella will be the Yvonne Arnaud’s fourth pantomime directed by the theatre’s Chief Executive and Director Joanna Read.
