Legendary 2-Tone Punk Ska Reggae Group The Beat arrive at Guildford’s G Live this June. Formed in 1979, the band led by vocalist Dave Wakeling released their debut single, an infectious cover of the Smokey Robinson hit ‘Tears of a Clown’ and have since gone on to become one of the pioneers of the 2-Tone scene along with the likes of The Specials, Madness and The Selecter. So get your knees up for a proper celebratory skank this month and snap up some tickets quick.
