INTRODUCTION TO WILD INKS / JULY 15 / THE LIGHTBOX, WOKING
Join artist Katie Fields for an introduction to the joys of wild colour and organic pigments. This workshop will begin with a foraging walk where you’ll gather sources of seasonal colour and demonstrate how these pigments are harvested, tested and modified. After a break with a foraged herbal tea, you’ll then create an ancient oak gall ink. Finish the workshop with a variety of samples and the knowledge to gather your own wild colours in the future.
